The following features have been added or modified in the new version of the MMT system:

 

1)    New regional settings for Currency and Date formats

Individual formats for displaying the correct currency and date style for different clients are now available.  These formats should ideally now be applied to existing clients.  By default, previously set formats are used but will be known as either "European" or "American".  Once a correct Currency and Date format is selected for each client, you will be able to change it again but you will not be able to select just European or American formats again.  This feature has been partly applied since the end of 2007 - for new clients it was necessary to choose a Currency and Date format.

Formats are reflected in all applicable areas of the MMT ROI system.

The Currency and Date format can be edited by going to Agency >> Clients >> Edit Client.

 

2)    New parameter in PPC reports – Conversion Rate

Conversion Rate, a new parameter is now shown in these reports - PPC Keywords, PPC Ads, Extended PPC Keywords, Match Types, Keyword Groups and Estimated Keywords for Today.  In the report tables, the column is named "%Conv".

 

3)    Modifications to Keyword Events and PPC Account Events Reports

In these two reports, the Clicks and Expenses columns are now placed before the Events Column, beside the keyword.

 

4)    Average rank for Baidu reports

As the Baidu API, does not support Average Rank in Reports, this feature has been implemented by MMT as follows.  The current rank, at the time of downloading is considered as the Average Rank for the current day and it is added to reports.  Also, unlike other Search Engines, where Average Rank data is available for the previous two months, for Baidu, the Average Rank can only be shown from the date when the account is added to MMT.

 

5)    Top strategy for Baidu accounts

The MMT Top Strategy has been modified for working with Baidu - if a client wants to reach a position from 1 to 4, the strategy when updating the keywords on Baidu, uses Baidu's own feature to set bids to reach the desired position.  The MMT ROI system gets the new keyword bid from Baidu.  Min and Max bid parameters are ignored.

 

6)    Reports subscription - new weekly option

There is now the ability to subscribe to receive weekly reports by email.  A report for the previous week will be sent to you on Monday morning at 5am (GMT).

7)    Keyword statuses for Baidu

The MMT system now supports the Baidu Keyword Status component.  In Bid Manager, when filtered for Baidu accounts, a keyword status filter will appear.

 

8)    New Country IP Database

The MMT system now has an improved Country IP Database which allows us to identify the country of origin of many more visitors.  Shortly we will be able to identify particular states and cities as well.

 

9)    Receiving reports by mail - modification

If you choose to receive a report as an attached file, you will now not see the report table in the body of the message, only in the attached file.  Receiving reports without selecting to receive them as an attached file, will show the data in the body of the message.

 

10)    PPC Ads report - modification

Deleted Ads are now displayed in the PPC Ads Report - previously if an Ad had been deleted they were not shown but indicated as "not available".  Deleted Ads are now displayed with a grey frame around them.

 

11)    Alternative strategy - renamed

The term "Alternative Strategy" is now renamed to "Strategy for the unspecified period".

 

12)    Lotus Notes - catered for

Some errors had been encountered by users receiving reports by email if they were using the Lotus Notes email platform.  This has been resolved.
