The following features have been added or modified in the new version of the MMT system:

 

1)    Optimise CPA Strategy - Edited

The Target Parameter (Target Cost per Acquisition) in the Optimise CPA Strategy has been removed.  The strategy is now known as the Keyword CPA Strategy.

2)    New Menu Bar

A new menu bar has been designed and implemented across the system.

 

3)    Reports – the timing for downloading has been improved

The timing options for reports downloading has been improved.  The reports are now more up to date and users have more flexibility in choosing the required download frequency.  In PPC Options, the Search Engines are differentiated and download frequencies from once every hour to every ten days are available.

4)    Enhanced Compatibility for Third Party SEM Tools

At the moment, a situation may occur where an Agency already uses a 3rd party SEM system and is going to use MMT.  Therefore their keyword URL's already contain redirect URL's of the 3rd party system.  If MMT URL Tracking is added to the existing Redirect URL's, the 3rd party SEM system does not transfer them on and tracking is affected:  There are three options:

  • to use MMT Redirects along with the 3rd party Redirects,
  • to add MMT URL Tracking Parameters to the destination URL's of the 3rd party SEM system,
  • to retrieve the destination URL from the 3rd party Redirect URL and to then create a new URL using either MMT Redirects or MMT URL Tracking.

How this will function:

MMT will analyse all accounts with the Redirect option currently turned off.  If the system finds any keywords with URL's containing redirect parameters of a 3rd party SEM sysem, it will create a message in "My Errors".  Users will then have the following options to resolve the situation:

To turn on MMT redirects - so both MMT redirects and the 3rd party Redirect will be used,

To add MMT URL Tracking parameters to the existing destination URL's and to continue using the Redirect parameters of the 3rd party SEM system,

To retrieve the destination URL's and to generate new URL's either using MMT Redirects or MMT URL tracking.

When selected, the system will perform the required action.  Analysis will be performed only once.  The chosen option will be used every time it is needed in future occurrences.

5)    Weighting - Payment Systems Considered

Payment systems are now no longer considered as traffic sources.  Therefore they are not taken into account for Weighting calculations.  Currently the following systems are taken into consideration - Paypal, Worldpay & CCBill.  Other systems can be easily included.

In the Edit Client section, (Agency > Clients >Edit Client), select the appropriate checkbox.

6)    Ads Weighting Implemented

Ads Weighting has now been successfully implemented across all systems.

7)    Bid Manager - CPA Filter Implemented

Bid Manager – Keyword Performance filters – a filter by CPA has been added.

8)    Page Views Report - Content Network Support

Data mapping for the Content Networks has now been added to the Page Views per Visitor report.  The Content Networks data is presented in the same way as in the PPC Keywords Report.

9)    Yahoo Markets Implemented

The Yahoo Markets feature has now been implemented.  Yahoo has 20 Markets and with MMT now supporting this feature, account parameters that differ with each market can be more accurate.

10)    Search Engines Database Enhanced

Visits from the search engines listed below are now shown in the Search Engine Reports.
