Pay-per-click leader, Overture has announced its plans to expand their Irish operations to include a new European search services centre in Dublin, to support its growing European business.
Expecting to reach $1 Billion in revenue this year Overture is looking
forward to enhance its reach by providing a dedicated service centre for
European customers in Dublin. The centre will employ a multi-national
workforce of nearly 100 by the end of this year. The new centre includes
customer service and editorial operations and will serve customers in the
UK, Germany, France and new European markets - including Italy and Spain.
The centre is based at Overture's European headquarters, which also houses
the European financial and accounting teams. The European search services centre will include a multi-lingual customer support centre and a financial shared services centre. About 70% of the employees will work in content editing, where they will ensure that sponsored listings are relevant to the search terms (keywords) chosen by the advertiser.
